HERfinance made me more confident- Dipi

Dipi, from Nowakhali, is living in the Bayezid area in Chattogram with her family. She stays with her husband, 2 children, her mother, and one of her sisters. She is working in the factory for the last 7 years. Dipi shared that attending HERfinance training sessions was her best factory experience in these 7 years. She said, \"HERfinance training has made me more confident to take the financial decisions\". \r\nDipi said that it was very difficult for her to communicate with her husband about their financial matters as her husband was careless about the family\'s future and it affected badly how they managed their salaries.\r\n“My husband took lots of loans from people, which became a huge burden for my family.”\r\nAfter attending HERfinance training sessions, Dipi could gather her confidence to talk with her husband and could make him understand that they would not need to take further loans if they made a budget for their monthly expenditure and strictly followed it. She told, “Now we jointly decide to follow our budget to save more so that we can replay our loans as soon as possible and can focus on fulfilling our future goals\".\r\nDuring the Endline survey, Dipi shared that she and her husband successfully repaid some of their loans. Besides, she herself started saving BDT 2000 per month for her children\'s education in the future.\r\n\r\n
