Inauguration of Mamata DCC and ECCD Centre

Non-governmental development organization Mamata has taken the initiative to run Day Care Center (DCC) and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Centre for children of female garments workers; the inauguration ceremony of these centers took place at Akhmal Ali Road of South Halishashar. During the inauguration of the centers on Saturday 9th September, Manjurul Haider General Manager of Youngone Group, Md. Faruque Deputy Chief Executive of Mamata, Assistant Chief Executive, Mohammad Shahariar, and Senior Director Coordination Swapna Talukdar along with other officials from both Mamata and Youngone were present. In a brief discussion meeting after the inauguration, the speakers said that one of the main concerns of working mothers is raising and caring for their children while they are at work. As a result, many capable and skilled women are deprived of careers. The DDC and ECCD centers will ensure that working mothers that their children are raised and nurtured in a safe and secure environment. The stakeholders expressed that this initiative is a breakthrough step to overcome barriers to women\'s empowerment. \r\n\r\n
